Rumours of Sanjay Dutt influencing actors against Sanjay Gupta untrue

Sanjay Dutt is known in the film fraternity as one of the most generous and magnanimous people around, constantly reaching out to those in need with his kind gestures. Despite being one of India's top superstars, he has always maintained a humble and bighearted persona with numerous instances on record of his charitable nature which is why sources close to him are shocked by recent news reports that claim otherwise. As per a news report in a local tabloid, Sanjay Dutt, after his fallout with once-upon-a-time friend Sanjay Gupta, has been telling people not to work with the director. There were reports that Dutt has been asking actors like John Abraham and Vivek Oberoi not to work in Gupta's forthcoming film Shootout At Wadala, but these allegations are baseless and nothing but a 'figment of imagination'. Says Dutt's publicist, "Being a thorough and dignified professional since years, Sanjay Dutt has never tried to influence anyone to not work with director Sanjay Gupta. When people come to him asking for his opinion on working with Gupta, he has never given a negative answer to anyone. He would never try to influence a fellow actor's film decisions or interfere in any such manner, as he is above such kind of behavior. We all know of his generosity since decades towards his friends, family and colleagues, and such malicious statements are just the workings of an idle mind!" Well, we hope this clarification answers the gossip mongers.
