Raveena Tandon to brush up her Marathi for Gin Liya Aasman

Raveena Tandon, who is born and brought up in Mumbai and manages to speak Marathi, is now brushing her skills and learning to speak fluent Marathi that is spoken in interiors of Maharashtra for her forthcoming bilingual film Gin Liya Aasman. Rishi Deshpande, the director of the film who himself is a Maharashtrian has given the task to his associates to help her to brush up the language for the film that will be shot in Hindi and Marathi. The film is a story of a 6 year old boy whose father, a naval officer has been missing since a plane crash and the kid has been told that his father lives in the sky. The innocent kid believes that his father is in charge of many duties and is responsible for bringing us monsoon and deciding the shape of the moon and that he will come and spend time with him as soon as he gets vacation. Raveena, who is playing the boy's mother in the film, is upbeat about doing the film that has her in a performance oriented role. Gin Liya Aasman is produced by Anil Bohra Mudassar Aziz and Vishwajit Gaikwad and is slated to release in summer 2012. The film is being shot in Pune currently.
