Akshay Kumar has joined hands with Ashvini Yardi, Head of Programming for Colors, to start a new production house Grazing Goat Pictures Pvt Ltd. Ashvini has already submitted her resignation to the channel and will move out from the channel by end of this month. Akshay and Ashvini have already bought an office space in Juhu which will be ready to be occupied by the end of this year. Akshay's wife Twinkle is working on the interiors of the office. Ashvini has been a part of the TV industry for almost 20 years and had earlier worked with Zee TV for over 12 years. Ashvini and Akshay came up with the idea for the production house during the shoot of Khatron Ke Khiladi, which aired on Colors. Their production house will produce Hindi films to begin with and then venture into regional cinema. The focus is on making quality creative films - both full length and short. The film based on reality TV show Bigg Boss will be the first film of the production house. Ashvini and Akshay are also on a lookout for talented writers and directors. This will be Akshay's second production banner. He already has his own production house Hari Om Entertainment, which he launched two years ago.
