Kalpana Mohan admitted in ICU

Kalpana Mohan, the beautiful actress who romanced the likes of Shammi Kapoor and Dev Anand in films like Professor, Teen Deviyan and Tasveer in the 60s is now undergoing treatment at the Nero Intensive Care Unit of the Poona Hospital and Research Centre.The 72 year old actress was admitted in the hospital after she developed respiratory and chest infection about 12 days back. She was suffering from chest infection but her condition worsened on Friday night after she had a convulsion on the left side of her body, following which she was shifted to the ICU and is now on ventilator. Kalpana Mohan's daughter Preeti Mansukhani and son-in-law Harish, who are settled in US, are by her side and giving her moral support. We send our prayers and best wishes to the ailing actress for her speedy recovery.
